18th European Public Health (EPH) Conference 2025
November 12th to 14th, 2025
The 18th European Public Health Conference in Helsinki brought together international partners to reaffirm a shared commitment to building healthier, fairer, and more resilient societies.
We are pleased to share that Prof. Magdalena Wrzesińska (Medical University of Łódź) and Dr. Bianca Fuchs-Neuhold (FH JOANNEUM) presented early results from our online survey on health, well-being, and stress among night shift workers across different sectors.
Their presentation offered important first insights into how night shift work affects perceived physical and mental workload. Preliminary conclusions indicate that:
- Occupational health programs for night shift workers should be gender-specific, and
- Stress management interventions are essential to improve both mental and physical workload perceptions.
